Blitzball sucks. No, it blows. No, it both sucks and blows. Can't I just fight monsters and watch the game?

If Tidus does not keep his yappy mouth quiet during battles, I am going to sit on him and tape his mouth shut with duct tape.

Auron is just so damn cool. If Sephy and Squall magically had a baby, it would be him... from Masamune redux to the scar across one eye. But those sunglasses and the rumbly voice are all his own.

My muse is off sulking in the corner because last night while I was playing FFX, Auron slipped half his robe off his shoulder... YOW! Do that again, babe!

There's definitely something going on between Wakka and Lulu. There was some non-televised locker room comfort that was most suggestive.

I predict that shortly there will be a bitch fight between Tifa and Lulu for who has the bigger hooters and who has the more provocative dress. Cloud is selling tickets, 100 gil a seat.

There will also be a fight between Yuna and Aeris, the two staff-wielding sorceresses. Loser has to suck on limes until some of the sugar in her personality is diluted. One can't count Rinoa out of this, but she's been in the middle of an extended whine for a month, and besides, she isn't useless in a fight.

Sephiroth is very cheesed off that someone else would dare lay claim to the name of his sword, so if I were Auron, I'd watch my ass. Literally and figuratively; you just never know about these insane SOLDIERs with dominance issues and a penchant for playing mind games.

AAAAAACK! Don't hurt Tidus! Yuna can have whoever, but he's mine! (Okay, I like the whoe Tidus/Yuna thing, but my sister and I have a gag about me liking the guy)

As for Auron... well, he's got the jug. Whenever I see Auron and the jug, I instantly think of 'The Brak Show' episode 'Expiration Day'. I don't know why, but I just do. It's rather funny. ^_^ (Oh! He finally showed his arm? Kewl)

Lulu and Wakka... yeah, that's a potential couple. But I predict Rikku/Wakka fics will be the norm. Errr, I haven't checked the FFX fic section at FF.Net lately sooo.... but I wonder when the doujinshis (sic) with her and x2 size 'jugs' on the cover will appear on eBay. *shudder*

One last note- I agree, Why is it all the main FF heroines (except Dagger from FF9) are so sugary sweet that it kills you? I like Aeris and all, but I've realized she's too goody-goody for my tastes. (Hey, a lime. There ya go! X)

Okay.... now I really gotta get FFX. *lol*

Actually there are some FFX DJ on ebay... But it seems that Yuna is the star of them (these are the kind where they took the "X" literally to heart, @_X), and not Lulu, who you would think would be up for Miss Silicon opposite Tifa.

But I do like Lulu's personality a lot better than Tifa's, even if she's gotta keep extra roles of double-sided tape on hand (thanks to Arafel for clearing up that mystery). =P

Oh, trust me, there's canonical chemistry between Lulu and Wakka. I think it'll be Rikku duking it out with Yuna for Tidus.

Juuust the element I had been looking forward to (NOT) in the game. So... it sucks and is majorly "fun" hm ? Why does that not surprise me ? At least with the card game you had a chance of winning by pure luck. Racing Chocobos on a virtual track was so much more fun.

Cloud boy is quite the entrepreneur isn't he ? As soon as he saw my CD burner he started offering unofficial CD copies on internet... I think the burner will be going day and night.

LOLOL ! Extended whine ? LOLOL ! I can imagine that. So Yuna is as useless as Aeris was in a bad situation ? Hmmm.... Fun... no...

Heh heh, I'd watch my ass if I were Auron-san too, stealing the sword's name is close to a challenge... for something... but maybe that's what Auron wants...?

But that explains why my dear muse has been sitting down on the quay for 2 days now sulking and ocasionally muttering something about "where did I go wrong to have them copy my sword's name ?" and "this horrible place with too low voltage to dry hair properly"... not even milk and cookies could cheer him up. I'm calling Zack right after this so he can come over and offer some cheering up. Vincent isn't the best cheerer up.

I tried playing blitzball last night - it all seems to be numbers-based and the controls are a pain in the ass. I didn't even like playing the damned card game. The chocobo racing was fun the one time, but that's easy - does your steed go fast or not? Sorry Wakka, your season's over.

L is a tad jealous, but the last time he felt threatened, he supplied me with three pages of text so... :) But he's not as enigmatic as Auron, that's for sure.

That's certainly true, but Lulu's got strong magic and all those cute plushies. The boys are just hoping that there will be some clothes ripped during the fight.

Your poor muse, I think yours and mine are going to get together for some beers and military songs. It could get ugly if they both get drunk and start comparing how much damage they could do with each of their oversized weapons. Drag Zack on in and I'll keep the other one entertained.

I think L tells himself that aura and mystery can't beat charm and smiles in the long run. ;) But supplies his writer with some inspiration to make sure he gets some stories. :)

Thanks for the warning, that could get very ugly indeed. A drunk muse is not a pretty sight and a drunk muse showing off his weapon and magic in pride issues is an even uglier sight. *picks up phone to call the SOLDIER barracks in Midgard*

You've pretty much pegged my feelings about
blitzball. What a waste of time,when i could be out killing
things.Auron is definitely the coolest player in the whole
group.Every time i see Auron up close with the glasses,
i think..Hey those are Elvis shades! And the hair too,
wonder if he's doing shows in vegas. O_o

Not sure how far anyone is in the game,so i won't ruin it,
but it's very easy to see that Auron isn't exactly telling
the most important aspect of himself. If you've been to the
Farplane,you know what i mean.

Yeah, right! Every other FF game has some side-sport you can play, whether it's chocobo racing or cards, but they're optional. Sure you can get some items, but you aren't necessarily going to need them to beat the game. In the case of blitzball, you can't level Wakka's LB's up unless you play. Screw that.

Hmmm... looking forward to Auron's secret... heh heh. I just made it up the Highroad to Djose. That was a tough trip. Lost to the summoner chick, gonna have to try that one again. :P

BTW, I redid that one battle with the poison plant boss, and won the MP sphere again. This time I'm just going to save it until I can find a better spot to use it--and use it on ther right person. I'm tempted to use it with Tidus, since he's learned haste, and he has virtually not MP to go with it. =_=, but I think Lulu will end up getting it, especially when she gets her bigger spells--for now I don't have a problem running out of MP with her.

I also got a Luck sphere too, but I'm definitely going to save that for Rikku--anything to boost stealing proficency. ;)

*grins* I haven't used any of my bonus items in any of the games -things like Luck Source and Mind Source (FF7) and Mag Up and Str Up go untouched until they are really really needed, like before boss fights. As you've found out, it seems to be very critical that you place your spheres where other people can use them too, which makes non-risk-takers such as myself wary about it. Of course, if you never use them, they'll never help you either...

Yep, I was saving the Luck Sphere for Rikku too. The better the Steal, the more stuff you get!

Have you found that you can steal more than once from the same creature?

Yep, when I first used Rikku in boss battle, I used steal to get more grenades (after I ran out). I think I was able to steal two or three of them.

As I said in Hideto's journal, yes Blitzball is terrible. It's one of the worst minigames in an FF game, IMO.

You know, if you think about Lulu's dress, how the hell does she even MOVE in that thing without it falling down? :D Also, i'd go with her for biggest hooters and most provocative dress. At least Tifa wasn't ready to "flop out" of her dress.

Now that I've made myself out to be a complete and total perverted idiot, I'll be quiet. ^_^;
