This is precisely why I love Willem DaFoe's character in Boondock Saints. :D After a while, bishies get boring.

Yep, I admit I had my "Whoa, that Sephiroth guy is hot" phase, but I've seen enough slender men with delicate features and long pretty hair by now. (Note: Laguna is not slender or delicate, so his long hair is excused. ;))

I think it falls into "lol you dork" category, and I'm not sure anyone as dorky as Laguna could count as a bishie. They're supposed to be graceful and cool and stuff. Laguna is... neither. XD

Perhaps not coincidentally, I loved the guy in my icon all that much more when I saw his full-body character art and realized he was walking around all the time in track pants and sandals.

So does that mean we can reasonably expect that Laguna is wearing socks and sandals? That's about a 10 on the dorkness scale, unless you are a hippie.

...He really sort of is. XD And I can totally see him showing up at some important meeting in Esthar like that, and Ellone's just giggling to herself and saying nothing, and Squall's like "... (There has to be some kind of mistake, I can't be related to this guy.)"

I guess wearing sandals and Dockers to high-level staff meetings says "Either I have no actual power, or I pwn this place, bitches."

This has nothing to do with anything, but the whole sandals discussion is reminding me of how one of my coworkers decided to wear deck shoes without socks for an entire summer. He cleared the lab one afternoon.
