I hardly know where to begin.

But I'll try.

The moon men, or "Mooninites"..., are delinquent outer-space men who make frequent appearances on the program.

I can't believe someone at CNN, most likely a well paid, educated person, had to seriously type this.


Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis called the stunt "unconscionable," while Boston Mayor Thomas Menino called it "outrageous" and the product of "corporate greed."

Damn man, did the things carry Bubonic Plague, which was then transmitted to toddlers? Very well behaved toddlers I guess.


Coakley and Menino did not rule out the possibility of criminal charges, or a civil suit to recoup what they say is the hundreds of thousands of dollars the city spent to respond to the bomb scares.

Yes because, as city officials, it is impossible that we pay for our own retarded behavior, or that we even learn from our mistakes. We are elected officials people.


And this is my favorite:

Assistant Attorney General John Grossman called the light boards "bomblike" devices and said that if they had been explosive they could have damaged infrastructure and transportation in the city.

Only like they so totally weren't explosive devices. Hell, I could have won the lottery last night. If I had, I could have paid off my debt. Tada! I owe nothing!!! Yippie!

The dumbest part is that the lite brites were up for like three weeks before the big hoo-hah started. Meanwhile the things were in other cities and NONE of them had this happen.

I don't know why people assume anything with blinky lights is a bomb. Frankly, if you're trying to hide an explosive device, dressing it up with special lights for the sole purpose of tradition would seem the last thing to really do. I'd be more disturbed had they made their statement via leaving unmarked suitcases all over.
