Welcome to my journal. It's a quiet place, but I like it. Most of the interesting stuff is friends-only, but the anime babble is here for your amusement.

I have a very open friendback policy, but it would very much help me to know why you find me interesting enough to add if I don't already know you. If you tend to babble in l33t-speak, or you appear to be adding me to fill up your friendslist, I may not add you back.

On the other hand, I welcome intelligent, friendly, and nerdy people, so if you think you're one of them, welcome! :)

Hmm... I like to reserve promotions in nj_otaku for events going on in the tristate area. My comm is more for people who live in the same geographic area rather than a gathering place for otaku. Good luck, though!

Completely off-topic from this, but a friend was sending me Bleach icons the other night. I got this one mixed up with the ones she made, and I don't think she noticed that it wasn't credited properly in my userpics section. I can take it down if you want, since it's yours, but it amuses the heck out of me. Would you mind if I used it, since I've gotten it properly credited now? If not, I can take it down, no big.

HI, this is about your writer's guild community. i was a member of it until earlier today when people started getting snippy when i defended a girl irratated by 'grammar' nazi's.' anyway, one poster in particular was very rude and posted anonly. i don't know if you have ip address logging turned on in that community, but if oyu do, can you find their ip for me? im wondering if it's someone who followed me from another community, or someone on my friends list, because they knew some stuff that i hadn't mentioned anywhere but those two places, and if they are, i need to know so i can deal with it (unfriend them or warn them on the forum)

A note about Writers_Guild

I wanted to inform you about a troll/stalker that seems to be uh...well, trying to ruin things for me and other people in the process. As of the day before yesterday I started receiving emails and comments to only my LJ entries or to one or two posts containing spoilers for the 7th Harry Potter book. But now they've resorted to going to other places where I've posted or I'm a member of, such as your community. They've made a post here (http://community.livejournal.com/writers_guild/597515.html) with spoilers for the book.

The username of this person is "creepylove." To ban them from your community all you have to do is put in:

ban_set creepylove from writers_guild

to the admin console here (http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console/) and they'll be banned. I'm sorry if this is any sort of inconvenience, I just don't want others to have to be spoiled because of whatever their apparent obsession is with me. I'm sorry to have to comment to your friends only entry for this, but there wasn't anything in the community profile about contacting you any other way.

Hi Arafel,

I found a 'story' on fanfiction.net which appears to take the text from your Ban Kai icon and change it around just slightly. I'm not sure if it falls under plagarism or not, but it seems unoriginal and crass.

It's Ms. Mod, and I told you gently the first time that you posted about your mice that updates about your pets were more appropriate to your personal journal. I do not make these types of comments without discussing it with the other mods first.
