Here they are! I picked the tsukesage up for a song - it was so pretty that I couldn't imagine why no one had bid on it. The obi is antique, and the only one I've seen that goes with my kurotomesode, which seems to have an odd color scheme. Alas, I didn't bring the kurotomesode down from the attic... some other time. ;)





I am so coming over your house for obi-tying lessons. ^_^ Did you teach yourself? *awe*

Beautiful! I love the mix of motifs on the obi, especially the pine trees. I am growing more fond of those every time I see them. I'll bet this will look fantastic on you!

Yes, I did teach myself how to tie obi, and it is not as hard as you might think! Ichiroya has some really nifty links on their site about tying obi. My favorite one, albeit all in Japanese, has the cutest animation that is very, very easy to follow!
