I'd forgotten what a cool song this was. Time to share!

Lisa Gerrard and Pieter Bourke - The Human Game

Lisa Gerrard is the female vocalist from Dead Can Dance, and this is from her second solo album. The song takes about 2 minutes to really get started, so if you want to get it rolling, quote Monty Python and "Skip a bit, brother."

Very cool

Very cool, just what I need at the end of this day in the lab. I would recommend not skipping the intro though. Life's long enough! ;-) Perhaps I'll be down to my local Borders soon.

Welcome! :) I don't recommend skipping the intro, but for the more driven-beat-minded people, it might get a bit boring on the first listen.

The CD is very good. Hope you enjoy it if you buy it.

I'm currently addicted to Sophie Ellis Bextor, Read my Lips.

It sounds like a slightly electronic'fied update of DCD at around Serpent's Egg time. Nice mid eastern inspired harmonies and the familiar voice of Gerrard. Pretty cool !

Actually and this has nothing to do with the song itself, the noises and sounds on the track after he vocals are done are some of the coolest sounds I've heard in a long time. Reminds me of how fun it was to mix weird sounds together last year in school.
