For all of you who have been following the Bitsy story:
I saw my aunt this weekend, and she had to put Bitsy down. She had an inoperable kidney stone and an infection on top of it, and her other kidney had ceased to function.
I'm very sad. Poor baby kitty.
It hasn't been a great weekend for news all round; my grandmother had a heart attack, though a relatively minor one. I saw the family today, which was good.
More when I'm not paying for the damn dialup. :P

Date: 2002-05-12 04:04 pm (UTC)I'm very sorry to hear about Bitsy and that she was so ill she had to be put down.
She sounded like such a sweet and cuddly kitty so she will surely be missed by all of you.
How sad you couldn't get more time with her.
Hearing about your grandmother's heart attack must have been a great shock too. Good to hear it was a minor attack... hopefully she'll be back on her feet soon.
Sounds like a heart wrenching tough weekend.
Let's talk more in the week.

Date: 2002-05-13 07:03 am (UTC)I'm really not in a bad way at the moment; Grandma is okay and this was sort of a wake-up call for her that she needs to look after her health. She hasn't been taking care of herself for some time now because she doesn't like doctors.
Email me back and we'll talk about chat.

Date: 2002-05-12 06:53 pm (UTC)I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother, too... I'm glad to hear that it was relatively minor heart attack, and I hope she feels better soon.
(And about the dialup -- no free dialup through university? That stinks!)
Re: *hug*
Date: 2002-05-13 07:06 am (UTC)I was writing from home, and we have Earthlink there. I think there is a P'ton dialup, but we live so far from the uni that it's not a local call. Earthlink would be a free dialup too (we pay a flat fee per month) but usually the local connection is freaking busy... so we pay the toll call to the farther-away one. :P
