Wow... Galbadian soldier Kiros, too. :D Cool! And on the flipside... scary, scary Laguna. :P
Woo, I've seen that Sydney before, he's not bad! *mutters something about how she could make much cooler claws though; after all, she made Vincent's very easily, and would link to a pic if she wasn't afraid of becoming part of these awards* The Ashley's a new one though... hmm... I wonder what he looked like from behind. And that's curiosity talking, thanks. ;)
Nida's so cute! If I ever manage to run into him while cosplaying Mullenkamp, regardless of the different game worlds bit, I'm going to dance for him and make him join my cult. :D
*laughs* I wouldn't make you part of these awards... and besides, these pics are both the good and the bad. I can't say that the off-the-cuff pic my husband took of me as Reno is all that much better...
*grins* We can only hope that Arseley didn't make his costume TOO accurate. Having buttcheeks hanging out only works in video games. Or if you're Howard Stern (and if you know what I'm talking about, that was one scary superhero...)
How did you make Vinny's claws?
LOL! I think you'll have to wait in line to snag that Nida. :)
Well... if I'm safe... *winces and links* ...Technically it's better than a lot of the cosplay stuff out there, especially considering that it was sort of a last minute thing and the claw was all I really spent much time on. And basically, that took a nice sheet of hammered brass, and a bunch of those little brass paper fastener things. =) It was way too much fun.
Which is why I'm looking forward to someday doing the Mullenkamp costume... lots of metal things to make, between the headdress, collar, armbands, and bikini. =
Oh, I like it! You did a nice job, and no, I wouldn't have picked you for the Cosplay Awards. ;) It's pretty neat that you can metal-work like that.
You are braver than I if you'd go out in public in sth as revealing as Mullenkamp's outfit! But you'd be very popular, I'd imagine. I thought about going to Otakon as Princess Kida (from Atlantis) as a secondary costume, but the thought of wandering around in a bandeau top wasn't very appealing. :)
Well, the two big flaws of my body are that I'm kind of flat, and a bit underweight. The latter's sort of socially acceptable, at least more so than being overweight (though it pisses me off, but that's a long story). And really, I don't mind the former, because it means that uncomfortable bras are not necessary. ;) So basically I'm pretty comfortable with my body, and have no problem showing some skin. And I'm one of those people who will wear anything for a gag anyway.
Not to mention, it's my face that makes me ugly, and I go around showing that all the time anyway. :D
