Meaningless but fun triumph
Jun. 7th, 2001 06:13 pmYes, I have managed to waste an entire two weeks or so of my life beating Zelda 3: A Link to the Past. I'd played it on my friend's SNES, but there was one dungeon we just couldn't beat and so eventually we lost interest. So in memory of my wasted youth spent playing video games in my friend's basement, I sacrificed valuable working time to beat the game in my old age.
It was fun!
What will I waste my time with NEXT?!
On a semi-related note, I have found out that two Medal of Honor games are slated to come out for the PS2 sometime next year. Perhaps the enjoyment my husband gets from shooting Nazis will push him over the edge towards getting one. He's been dead-set against it since I bamboozled him into getting a DVD player. He knows I mean business - I threatened to pawn one of my rings (NO, not my wedding rings!) to get the money to buy one. Anyone want to buy a tanzanite and diamond ring, cheap? ^_^

...nice to see you are enjoying yourself... :)
