....aaaaand just to put the icing on the cake, my husband was offered a job in San Diego today that he had to turn down because he's not done with his thesis yet either.

Not that I really want to go to San Diego.

I think there will be a lot of alcohol consumed this evening.

*feels impending headache and panic set in*

How far is your husband from finishing his thesis? (What does he study?)

I agree with the others' sentiments, too... if he's already got offers, I'll bet he'll continue to get them. Along those same lines, have you thought about what you would like to do when you finish? (Or where you guys might like to live?)
