I've never played D&D but I'll bite. What the hell.

I Am A: True Neutral Elf Mage Bard

Alignment:
True Neutral characters are very rare. They believe that balance is the most important thing, and will not side with any other force. They will do whatever is necessary to preserve that balance, even if it means switching allegiances suddenly.

Race:
Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.

Primary Class:
Mages harness the magical energies for their own use. Spells, spell books, and long hours in the library are their loves. While often not physically strong, their mental talents can make up for this.

Secondary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.

An elven mage ? Neat ! I guess you dabble in the harp on the side hm ? :) AD&D = inspired by LoTR totally... same main classes of races and professions as in the LoTR books. Hey, remember the RP Akira ran for us on NR ? He used the AD&D rules.

Well, yes, I guess I have AD&D'ed, technically. I have had friends who were into it. It was never my thing though.

You're the only person who I've seen take this test and come out a human. Everyone else seems to be an elf.

I like Elves. Where did you pick to live? I think that was the key question for race. Well, one of them at least.

I'd say that was the key question for race as well.

I chose the city as the place to live, figuring "a town in the trees" was the clichee to come out as an elf.

I'd honestly prefer to live in a bustling place such as Edo (1700s Tokyo) or Lankhmar or ancient Rome than one of those elf cities, I think. I've also a hard time imagining elves, and elf towns, I'd say that as soon as you get more than 2 individuals in one place and they're trying to do any kind of trade or selling, that laid back elven spirit goes out the window and you're left with bustling humans or even less elegantly, arguing dwarves. I guess I never was much of a fantasy fan...

I'd much rather live in the serene atmosphere of an elven city than the hustle and bustle of a human one. I guess if you live for a thousand years you aren't in such a hurry to get stuff done. lol

Actually, I picked that I'd want to live in the city, so it must have been more than just that question. As much as I'm not keen on crowds, the sheer convenience of having everything nearby would be too much to pass up.
