When you are creating sexy shirtless beefcake art, it's okay to leave out armpit hair. Really it is.

Speaking as a fanartist myself I admit it's one of those damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don't cases.

Draw any form of hair that doesn't belong on a head or chin and you get grief because it's not natural.

Don't draw any form of hair that doesn't belong on a head or chin and you get grief because it's not really all that nice to look at.

(Personally I prefer to draw without mostly because it's more time consuming to put hair there. ESPECIALLY if you're doing a color piece.)

Yeah, I like hair but I am so used to seeing fanart without it it kind of slips by my notice at this point. Alas.
