Biscuit used to do the same before we had to declaw her recently (baby + cat = didn't end well.) She still attacks my head while I'm making the bed, but it hurts a lot less. :D
He's on the mend, mainly recovering from all the nausea. They could never pinpoint what caused it, but ruled out stroke and heart attack, so I guess that's good. He's been at home for a few days now and my older sister (who lives with him) sends me regular "all is well" reports. (I think it's shaken all of us up.)
