We just had an earthquake here! All of a sudden, everything started shaking a little, and I thought it was my cold medicine until everyone else started to comment on it too. Apparently there was a magnitude 5.8 quake in VA:

They upgraded it to 5.9. My coworkers in Charlotte said they felt their building shift slightly and the blinds swayed.

Yes - the quake was very mild here, nothing more exciting than something to talk about with friends. I don't believe that there was any major damage, anywhere.

You must have been in Japan during the major quake this year! How scary.
