Absolutely all of our business is done online and over the phone. No customers come into our office. Yet we still have to dress business casual. Sooo stupid....
Hee. At my new job, there's no actual dress code, but the administrative staff and board of directors get offended if we come to fix their stuff and we're wearing jeans, or t-shirts, or hoodies, or anything below business casual. So every time the place is closed except for those of us who do the day-to-day "keeping stuff working" work, including the school vacations, everyone takes the opportunity to dress like a slob.
So I asked my boss, does the "head honchos are gone" rule apply to summer? And it sounds like every day is going to be geek humor t-shirt day for me. XD
