People with light eyes handle alcohol better than people with dark eyes.

So, I can handle my alcohol well because I have green eyes? :D (that was definitely not the case on my 30th birthday, but there was also a lot of alcohol.)

I can outdrink my husband easily. :D But, he also has a bug about drinking and feels that just getting buzzed is noteworthy.

Considering how much of an idiot I am when I'm sober I shudder to think how bad I get when sloshed... (I'd like to think I'd be a combination of Laguna, Bartz and Kefka thrown together in a blender with a twist of Jack Lemmon...)

I get friendly, and then I get *cough* friendly, and then I go to sleep. Unfortunately for my husband, the time period between steps 2 and 3 is about five minutes. Drives him crazy.

Knowing Bartz he'd probably be changing into his dancer!alt and trying to do an impression of Boco whilst getting way too friendly with everyone. Though the idea of Squall having to babysit a drunk Bartz AND Zidane is far too entertaining. Throw in a wasted Laguna too and he'll probably be wanting to gunblade all three of them to kingdom hearts come.

It's not a hard-and-fast rule, obviously - how quickly you get drunk has a lot to do with your weight, your gender, and your metabolism - but if you control for those, the study claims that the light-eyed people tend to handle the boozahol better.

Very interesting. I have blue eyes and I can't stand the taste of alcohol. I've never gotten drunk because of it.
