Today I bought 34 black hair elastics at the pharmacy.

This is intended as a record so I can check how fast I can run through hair elastics. Most of the time I have my hair down in the morning, and then by 10 AM I'm tired of having it get in the way, so back it goes (where the sides promptly fall out of the ponytail.)

33 in the pack, 1 in the hair.

I know this will come as a great surprise, but that's what I use, too (plain, black hair elastics, with no metal thingie if I can find them), and I suspect we're on the same hair-pulling-back schedule in lab, too. As soon as it's completely dry, it usually goes up. Too funny...

I can't remember when I bought the last pack, but it had 40, and I'm down to two (because I left one in the hotel in California). Almost time to buy more!

LOL! I think we do use the same kind! Mine don't have the metal part either.

Heh heh... I'll make an attempt to style in the morning, but by 11 AM, usually it's up in the pony tail. Who can be bothered with all that stuff. :)

I think there's a Paradise Land of hair elastics somewhere, and at some point in their lives, the elastics need to make a Pilgrimage. Mine sure vanish fast enough.
