We're watching Obama's press conference, and I'm just loving that we have a commander-in-chief who does not make me wince every time he opens his mouth. And the question he had to write down? PRICELESS.

Exactly. I can't tell you how awful it was to listen to Dubya's southern-fried hick act, and it hurt my soul every time he said "nyookyoolur." I'm not the biggest Clinton supporter, either, but at least the man wasn't stupid.

It was absolutely hilarious, although I predict that Obama will take some flak for having a brain fart and saying "down to the lowliest private" when referring to the members of the armed forces. You could tell he was having an "oh shit, did I just say that" moment afterwards.

The NYTimes reporter (I think) asked him that since he came to the White House, what thing did he find the most surprising, the most enchanting, the most humbling and the most something else. He carefully wrote it all down, and everybody cracked up; and he gave a long, thoughtful answer. What a guy.
