"Christmas" with my husband at home before the mad rush started. His big present: a GT Force wheel for playing GT3, along with some games and a new toy Ferrari and some shirts. My big present: a new computer. Not a full comp, just the CPU basically. But it's got 8.8 gig and 450 MHz so I cannot complain at all. Pack up the car, head south, go to dinner in Philly with the folks.

See our friends from Buffalo. They joke about a white Christmas; little do they know that the 4-foot dump is on the way. We all head out to see LOtR. Great movie, very well done, entertaining and clever. Husband wants to know what happens next; get a book. Went for Chinese that night; it just wouldn't be a visit with P and L without going for Chinese at some point. Back to Jersey that evening.

Christmas with my mom and dad. Nothing to shout about from the parents but my new mandoline, otherwise known as a finger shredder. Couple cookie books and the promise of new shackle earrings when we go to the boat show in Jan. Off to the Q's that night, went to Ginger's dad's for dinner and had the most garlicky meatballs ever. Husband's cold not getting better. Watched Xmas movies till midnight, went to Mass, awful music. Word to the wise: keep the drum set out of the celebration PLEASE.

Real Christmas with Mom and Dad Q. Cozy, nice, lots of thoughtful things from the in-laws incl. a new springerle mold, not that I have ever made them yet. Didn't do much after presents until 2:30 when we went over to my parents' for dinner. Nice evening, left at 7:00 PM, listened to choral Christmas music on the bible-thumper station, which was really very nice. Better than some of the newer junk on the radio. Get home, collapse.

Waste time at work, play with computer, make web page, chat. Adv would have a cow. Better luck next year!
