I know the internet is a weird place, but MMOs seem to bring out some of the worst of it.

Well, that's exactly why I wouldn't either. Now, give me a real fantasy world MMORPG, where there's genuinely a point and a mythology and things to do instead of just living out sad fantasies, well, I'll spend many happy hours in there, and keep the sex for the RL part :-)
