Going home soon to hand out candy to the kiddies. Yay!

I have been watching some of my unfinished anime while working out in the basement. Just got done with FLCL. What the fuck was that all about? I probably ought to watch Outlaw Star now, considering that my BIL only gave it to me three years ago.

Husband and I have been filling in the gaps in Avatar. Something tells me it would take only a small push to get him to agree to dress up as Sokka and Suki for next Halloween or something. He's so cute.

End of an era: when going through the cosplay box in the basement to determine what (if anything) I could wear for our company party, I determined that my shinigami outfit is beyond repair. *cries*

After watching an animated fable for training about how the giraffe and the elephant have trouble working together, and discovering that many companies purchase this fable to illustrate diversity issues, I have come to the conclusion that I am definitely in the wrong business.

It needs to be not-DST any more. Like, three weeks ago.

Sunday will be the first football game I've gone to in a month.

I must be getting old, because I want to get a bird book to see who's been visiting our backyard feeder.

The American version of Life on Mars is entertaining so far.

The writers of House, MD must have gotten together before this season and said, "Let's spend this season poking the shippers, for the lulz." Next up: threesomes?

So what's up with you?

My kid just went out trick or treating with her friends. I spent the day doing laundry - our basement got some water in it and several of the boxes with costumes and fabric got soaked.

Oh, time for candy. :D

Oh nooooooo! D: I'm sorry to hear that your costumes got wet! And the fabric stash, too. Hope they all dry out properly!

I always try to get fabrics that are washable. So far everything is fine once they are washed and dried. :)

Some of the fabrics seem to have gotten dye from some of the other fabric but that's okay, too. I like tie-died fabrics.

Perhaps I should watch this season of House. I do approve of taunting-induced lulz.

First we had a long House/Wilson interlude, and now we are on to Huddy, and honestly, I think a threesome is the next step.

I've always been a fan of the OT3. I deserves representation just like any ship :)

Hugh Laurie did look up to it in that Actor's Studio interview.

Can't be any worse than Heroes, where the writers have NO idea of where they're going.

I'm going to come to your door dressed in my Eagles garb and say I'm a loser :)

It seems that Heroes started out as omg awesome and has lost its way. That sucks.

It's hard to call any team in the NFC East Beast Club "losers!" The Lions, on the other hand...

Outlaw Star is really good! I need to pick up the box set one of these days and rewatch it.

I adore FLCL, because it makes absolutely no sense and still manages (to me, anyway) to be a really good coming-of-age story. Would it help to know that the rumors say that the people who worked on it had just finished doing End of Evangelion and FLCL was to help them de-stress?

Hope you enjoy your Halloween!

What happened between House and Cuddy was a long time coming, but I agree about the writers wanting to please the shippers. As a Wilson lover I am glad that they made up. I missed seeing him around.

Any guy who will dress up as Sokka is a good guy.

I know I had comments for this post because I remember making a mental note to come back and reply, yet now I can't really remember what they were. One more reason not to procrastinate, I guess.

You guys would be ADORABLE as Sokka and Suki. Would you do their traditional outfits our go for the Fire Nation gear? Would he prefer a boomerang or a sword? ;)

What happened to the shinigami outfit?

What happened to the shinigami outfit was the washing machine. I should have washed it on delicate, or better yet had it dry-cleaned (the dry-cleaning lady at work is used to all sorts of weird shit coming from me) but I had a brain fart. The serged seams disintegrated, and the backboard on the hakama wadded up and it couldn't be fixed. Wah.

Sorrow! D: Man, I just washed mine yesterday. I should inspect it.
