Well, I'm here. My friend Fire Ceremony has recommended this place several times, so I finally got off my duff and made a journal of my own. I used to keep a journal in RL until my husband (then my boyfriend) got ahold of it and read some things he shouldn't have. It was not a pretty fallout, and ever since, journals have meant trouble.
In any case, several of my friends from the Realm are hanging out here until the dawn of SR2, and it seems a shame to let friendships lapse until a bunch of programmers get it in gear.
My journal begins in a very mundane way; I'm slacking off again since my boss-man won't be back until Friday. I have to talk to him about where my Ph.D. is going, which I'm dreading, so Friday won't be too much fun. There is also the matter of a talk for Bristol-Myers Squibb to be arranged. He's going to be cranky when he gets back because some of the information I gave him is inconsistent - oh boy.
At least the weekend will be partially entertaining. We have to drive back to PA to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday, and that afternoon we will visit with friends for lunch. It's always taxing for me to visit these friends because they have two small children, and I am ill at ease with young ones. How children could be in my future, I will never know. Sunday, as just about everyone in the USA knows, is Super Bowl Sunday. My favorite team is headed to the Big Game, and I am very excited.
I think that's enough for now. I hope that some of my listed friends will list me as well!
