let the record show that despite my own mother's doubts, I can make a pie. The USGA test center staff agrees.

someone must have been unloading their Tori Amos singles down at the CD store because they were all used and very cheap. good for me. two versions of "spark" and the "winter" maxi-single - add to the Tori pile.

Date: 2001-11-20 04:03 am (UTC)What kind of pie? I like pie much better than cake. Cake is too dry for me.
I've listened to some Tori Amos before. She always seemed to be depressed to the point of suicide to me. Not much for men either if I remember correctly. What I mean by that is she seemed to have had a rough go with men, very negative in her tone toward them. But I haven't listend to all that much of her stuff so I'm probably off on that.
I've noticed that computer thing too. It is amazing how long you can spend doing nothing on the interent.
How did the Giants manage to loose to the Vikings last night!?! Oh well, it's not like my Saints are doing much better.
I think the muse took a little vacation to spend Thanksgiving with friends and family. Hopefully she will be back soon.

Date: 2001-11-20 06:45 am (UTC)Pecan and pumpkin pies will be the order of the day tomorrow. I like to make cakes too, but this is a New Thing. :)
It's easy to see where you'd think Tori Amos is very depressing. It depends on the song, of course, but most of her music does have an edge to it. Either that or it's just weird.
How did the Giants lose? Simple. They stink.
Have a nice Thanksgiving with friends and family yourself! :)
