moonwisemeteor showers are lovely to watch but the effect is somewhat diminished when it is 4 AM and you've been rousted out of bed to do it.
deer moving around in the forest near Lamington Road make me think of Blair Witch Project.

let the record show that despite my own mother's doubts, I can make a pie. The USGA test center staff agrees.

someone must have been unloading their Tori Amos singles down at the CD store because they were all used and very cheap. good for me. two versions of "spark" and the "winter" maxi-single - add to the Tori pile.

the amount of time one can waste just screwing around on the computer is staggering.
then again there aren't too many more fun things you can do when you're supposed to be working

three days to Family Fun at the M household. then we have Festivus at the Q's. Screw Festivus, I want to go to the football game.

I got to see Harry Potter and I really liked it. I like Harry Potter. The books aren't world lit but they're charming and engaging and Rowling plots well.
