...IT'S CRAP!

I'm going to St. Andrews, Scotland over Labor Day weekend (Sept. 1 - 5)! Husband's work is having a conference with the R&A, so I'm going to go along with him for some sightseeing. If any of you UK folks are going to be in the area, let me know, because I'm going to be on my own for Monday and Tuesday.

It's silly, but the thing I'm looking forward to the most is being able to get a Schweppes ginger beer WHENEVER I WANT. That stuff is a little bit of heaven.

Where in Scotland is St. Andrews? Far away from Aberdeen or Edinbourgh?

It's a train ride from Edinburgh, but I would be hard pressed to tell you how far a ride it is from Edinburgh. I was thinking of taking the train in there one day to do some sightseeing, because otherwise I'd be on my own until my husband's meetings let out. It certainly would be stellar to meet up!

I've checked a few fare prices but they're not as cheap or as direct as I thought they would. There used to be direct flights from here to Scotland but apparently no longer. I'll have to call the air line company tomorrow.
