Off to Montreal in a couple of hours.

I canNOT afford to be leaving work for any length of time, but I'm trying very hard to concentrate on VACATION and not so hard on OMG SO MUCH SHIT TO DO AND HAVE TO TRAIN INTERN AND STUFFS.

With any luck, the Frenchman in the Spider-Man outfit dancing the Robot will be around again this year, because one of the great regrets of my life is not getting a photo of that the last time. It was one of those things you cannot describe to your friends, because they will never believe you.

My fingers and toesies are painted a close approximation of the rosso scuderia color of a F1 Ferrari, the sunscreen is packed, and once again, it's time to pretend I'm stylish.

Oh, if you run into anything fabulous, please let me know? Montreal's only about five hours from me, and I've just been a complete slacker ass about going. Also, intimidated by potential language barriers. But still wanting to go! Have fun.

I know who you are! :) Montreal is indeed fabulous, though we don't explore the city much on our Grand Prix trips. The language thing does get on one's nerves after a while, but the Quebecois in Montreal are mostly bilingual although they pretend they aren't sometimes.

Where are you located that you're only 5 hours away?

Toronto. Moved up from Hamilton about three weeks ago. I keep meaning to go, but I also want to spend three days (at least *one* full day!) and work has not been as on top of my days off as it should be.
