You don't have a dishwasher? How do you live?!

Dischwashers and microwaves are two things that sound really nice when you've never had one, and as soon as you have, being without one becomes a source of near-terminal pain and woe.

The dishwasher thing does suck a lot. Admittedly, it's not TOO bad with two people, but dinner parties are a nightmare. What kills me is that my in-laws have a very nice dishwasher, and they insist on doing the dishes by hand and then use the dishwasher as a drying rack. -_-;
