there is a curious paradox
that no one can explain
who understands the secret
of the reaping of the grain?
who understands why Spring is born
out of Winter's laboring pain?
or why we all must die a bit
before we grow again.
I do not know the answer
I merely know it's true
I hurt them for that reason
and myself, a little bit too.

sympathy for the trees who died to make the notebook it's written in

I'd rather have a Ford Focus Z3 tricked up in rally trim! Subaru, yuck!!!
I wrote some poetry when I was a kid too. I think most all kid poetry was lousy. Some of the kids at the Realm do a good job, but they are the exception.
I never look at my navel.
