At this time tomorrow,
jaina and I will be well on our merry way to Katsucon, though I anticipate we'll get stuck in traffic several times.
So much to do tonight. Brilliant me, I don't seem to have a handy paintbrush, so I have to spend valuable time heading out to Michael's so I can finish the 4th squad badge for Isane. (mebbe will go at lunch.) To add to that, my hakama still need to be ironed, and the two kimono could use a pressing as well. Oh, and the Seung Mina outfit too. :P Oh, and my "Anime: Crack is Cheaper" bag is missing. Again. Which is, like, my best bag for cons.
Argh.
Anyway, it should be a good time, if for no other reason that DC is a fun town and there are lots of good places to eat. Plus,
buttercup022 has taken it upon herself to do some strenuous research and find the best bars.
And I am totally not looking forward at all to the potential for wanksplosions between cosplayers. I didn't make sure that my camera was cleaned off, nope. Didn't even check photoshoot times.

Date: 2006-02-16 11:26 pm (UTC)I use people's real names sometimes, because I know they don't mind. And if in the future they decide they hate me and report past instances to LJ abuse as invasion of privacy, well, it's as easy as going to the post (all LJ abuse emails contain links to the post with the violations - in fact, they won't do anything unless the person REPORTING a violation contains direct links to the entries in violation) and removing the last names.
I'm kind of surprised that the person in question here didn't do that, but maybe he thought the email was a joke or something. We've had people tell us that a lot, because the person who reported them was always talking about reporting them and getting their journal suspended, and they didn't think LJ abuse would actually suspend someone over something like that when it's been flamewars on both sides for months. ;) And then they remove the name, the journal is left alone, and they go back to their flamewars.
