We finally cracked open the first season of House tonight, and both husband and I loved the show. We'll probably watch this one a lot faster than Arrested Development.
So I'm watching the show, and at one point, House and his boss are walking outside. There's a glassed-in building behind them that looks a lot like Frist Campus Center at Princeton University. Huh, thinks I, that looks familiar. Must be a similar building out in CA somewhere.
Watch watch watch, and then the end of the show. The camera starts to pull away from the "hospital."
Me: That looks like Frist... WAIT, THAT IS FRIST! LOOK, THERE'S WOODY WOO, AND THERE'S THE MOLECULAR BIOLOGY BUILDING! *rewinds* HEY, THE CHEMISTRY BUILDING! HIIIIIIIIIII!
The funniest part for me is that the hospital is badged as the "Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital." Of course, there is nonesuch, but there is a hospital very nearby to where these outdoor scenes were shot. My good friend Dr. Becky had a rotation at that hospital, which does have a clinic, and she HATED doing the clinic for the same reasons House did. XD An awful lot of the patients she saw had nothing wrong with them that a good night's sleep and an Advil or Sudafed wouldn't fix, and yet they seemed to very much enjoy coming into the clinic and complaining at length about their general frailty and malaise.
Good stuff. Will watch more.
ETA: GIP!
