Samurai Champloo 11

Jin.
We hardly knew you.
You were supposed to be gay and slashable.
Even Mugen commented on it.
Instead there was great sexiness of the m/f persuasion and snogging. (and, nekkid post-sex Jin.)
Lucky Shino.
Aside from that, I had a lump in my throat from all the understated sweetness - Jin had more lines in this ep than in any other. That was a kickass episode. What a great moment when Shino threw the money back in her husband's face.
And poor Fuu - she's got such a crush on Jin, but it's obvious that's not going anywhere. It's not even like Vash/Meryl, where by the end of the series there's a reasonable justification for pairing them up re: him coming back. With Shino waiting in the wings, and with the unemotional Jin displaying such a strong reaction, there's no way that is going anywhere.
I do like Mugen the best of all the characters, I think. He's so unashamed of himself, tells it like it is with a cocky attitude and that laid-back Spike Spiegel cool.
