I've been waiting for this shiny little piece of impulse buying for months.
O FATE WHY MUST YOU TAUNT ME?
In other news, the Giants won this weekend. I think it was because my mother and I engaged in a particularly fierce bout of cheering that left my poor father staring. It's a wonder that people on other boats didn't come over to see what the fuss was all about.
My mom and I went out to JoAnn's, and she bought me five yards of blue fabric for Rosette's habit. My parents are supporting my cosplay habit (HA HA NO PUN INTENDED.) I love them.
One of these days, the Kenmore sewing machine in the basement will come back w/me and I will have it serviced. It's been on my mind, since it's a table machine and could serve as a piece of furniture. As it stands, every time I want to make something, it's up to the attic and three trips down for the machine, the sewing box, and the fabric box. It's very tiresome, and a real impediment to a few hours' quilting in the evenings.
People were really quiet at work today. It had me worried. We're not quiet people, especially when someone's feeling obnoxious. Hopefully it will be noisier tomorrow, was very tired getting home and made a poor showing of today's run. Tomorrow yoga starts again at work, at least. It will make up for the pad khing I had at Thai Kitchen tonight.
