Ah, Basement Jaxx, haven't heard a lot from them lately.

But I'm out of the loop when it comes to music these days. :)

I've been listening to a trance CD a friend copied for me, and it's not recent trance. The soundtrack to Texhnolyze, the soundtrack to Silent Hill 3, there's been some anime and game music lately. I don't listen to radio as much as I used to and hence am out of the loop as to what's cool these days. :)

You and me both. I find it discouraging that I have entered into old fartdom and don't like anything on the radio. Either that or I have good taste. Haven't figured that out yet.

It seems we are both mining the anime soundtrack market and older 80's music for something listenable. Great minds think alike, eh? Feel like trading anything? I have Haibane Renmei, Last Exile 1, Voices of a Distant Star, and Utena, among others.

I recently heard the soundtrack for one of the Riven/Myst games, not sure exactly which one. But it weas a great soundtrack and I hope to copy it as soon as possible. Have you heard it? IIRC you had played some of the Myst games?

Hmm... I have the Hellsing soundtrack, because you sent it to me. ^_^ Texhnolyze and FLCL sound interesting. Would you be interested in trading?

I haven't played any of the games you listed except for Xenosaga, and the music for that one didn't really catch me. As for Myst, I did play the first one (Myst), but none of the subsequent games. The music for that one was indeed very pretty, IIRC. Hope you enjoy it too!

Texhnolyze and FLCL? Sure! They both are good soundtracks, with songs that don't need the accompanying visuals to be cool.

Zip me the Last Exile soundtrack, you've already sent me lots of goodies. :))

I haven't got much time to be online weeknights this week. I have to clean out a closet tonight and there'll be training on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday there's a meeting in the shop and I guess Friday you're busy? Just wanted to let you know why I haven't been online a lot the last week.

I don't check the angharen Hotmail account much - just use it to sign up for message boards and the like. If you'd use arafel at oceandreaming dot com, then you'll get a much better response. ;)

Oh, don't worry at all about not being online. I've been quite busy myself and spent most of last week's evenings cleaning the house in preparation for my parents' visit. Also, things are busy busy at work. This Friday I'll be home, actually, so it would be a good time if you're around. :)
