I've always dreamed of doing this! When I did some programming in our labs, there were so many bugs in the code I was given to start with that I started keeping a rubber mallet on the desk by the computer (as do several of our other grad students)... sadly, this is exactly when the problems stopped working, so I never got to do anything.
Nope. I am from the good old US of A, and I'm a lapsed Catholic. :)
I did realize that "Arafel" means "fog" or even "shadows" in Hebrew, and that's why my byline reads "joy and shadows." Arafel was the name of a character in a book I liked called "The Dreaming Tree," and the name is a slurring of the Irish word aoibheal, which sorta means "joyful." ^_^ I liked the dual meaning.
