moonwiseI'm so weak.
I just bought Order of the Phoenix at the Wegman's.
And you know why?
Because I am such a freaking LEMMING and I CAN'T STAND BEING OUT OF THE LOOP GODDAMNIT
*pantpant*
I will have to finish The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass first, though, because those have to go back to the library.

Aaaaaand I see from the Almighty Friends List that I already AM out of the loop. Bah. I guess if you don't read the doorstop in one sitting, the world just passes you by. (and let it be said that yes, I can speedread.)

Date: 2003-06-23 06:05 am (UTC)I like the His Dark Materials trilogy very much - it's clean and simple and well-told. Pullman puts his story together very well. I'm looking forward to the next book.
Wish I had a daemon. :)
