moonwiseAnother new icon. Yay.
Trying to work on the new chapter and not having a lot of luck. I look at it and it's just SO much that it's hard to put it all into words, especially since the work is so shaky. Avoidance isn't going to help but it's so easy... *sigh* Yes, we made this catalyst, we spent a lot of time banging our collective heads against the wall, and that's all there is and no I don't want to discuss the transamination stuff or the strapping stuff because goddamnit it just didn't work.
Got a call from Dr. Ace yesterday confirming that my offer letter is in the works. (What do you do with an offer letter once you get it? Call someone?) This prompts both excitement and total panic, since they have problems and I hope I'll be up to the task of solving them. I'm also sure I will be buying many many many boxes of Band-Aids from the store to stave off my nervous habit of biting my fingers.
As part of my avoidance tactics, I popped FFVIII back into the PS2 and had some fun with that. Kind of like visiting with old friends, and since I really ought to turn my attention back to Storm Front, then not a bad idea in the end.
Off to the library to get some papers and stuff. Blah.
