Sad Monday
Jan. 29th, 2001 11:36 amThe football game did not go well. My favorite team, the Giants, got their collective butts kicked by their opponents. What upsets me the most is that their opponents are trash-talking bozos, and now that they have won the Big Game, they will be the heroes. I guess there is always next year.
At any rate, my husband and I went to visit my mom and dad for the game. My mom is a bigger fan than I am - she taught me everything I know about football. It was fun to spend the game with them, even if my team did lose. Here's a photo of all of us in our game gear:

Silly excuse to use the picture posting option, but there you go.

Date: 2001-01-29 01:23 pm (UTC)I'm sorry to hear the team you root for lost the finals.
That is always a disappointment and a cause for disheartening emotions in fans.
I hope your team will win the finals next year.
Nice pic. :)

Date: 2001-01-29 02:00 pm (UTC)1. Vindication for the Dawg Pound and all the Cleveland fans, as well as all the older Baltimore fans who still miss the Colts
2. Shannon Sharpe and his buddy Ray Lewis would have to shut their yapping mouths
3. The nice guys would have finished first.
