Heh, I'm just glad you didn't object. ;) I picked up a link banner for my site awhile back too, though updating links is like the most boring part of updating a site, so I've piled up probably half a dozen in the last few months and have been putting off adding them... :P

And I dunno, I do have a site with over 50,000 hits that was still not using up all that much bandwidth... but then, a lot of those hits were for text stuff, and I imagine a lot of your visitors are checking out several scanned doujinshi pages on each visit. Hmm.

Yeah - the scans do eat a lot of bandwidth. My provider didn't specify how much I was allowed, but I'm up to 0.1 gig for the month of May, and I know that other dj sites have gotten hammered around 1 gig... O_O

Well, I sent some email replying to yours before I posted that LJ message, but then a few hours later it got bounced back, so I was thinking "Gee, now it might look like I'm not willing to talk to her directly about it..." :P

Hmm, 0.1 gig isn't so bad... there's a lot of room for growth there. =)

I dunno why I put off updating links so much. It's not like it's hard, and I used to work data entry, so I'm used to doing very stripped-down tedious stuff without much creativity. ;)

That's odd - I wonder why the message got bounced. I know that for a short period of time last week, I couldn't access my site, but that shouldn't have affected my mail. The problem was on the university's end, not the provider's.

Don't most providers get cranky with you when you go over 1 gig? I guess it depends. I hope you're right!

Sometimes the easiest things are the things we put off the longest. :)

It's good to see your site is doing well. =)

I've taken a stroll around it and can see
why you would get so many visitors,it's a very
clean, well put-together site. The material is
not something i am a fan of,though it was definitely
a learning experience to see what the differences
are between the various terms associated with that
type or artwork.

It probably wouldn't hurt to find out what your
allotted bandwidth is per month, so that you don't run into
any financial snags or possible downtime.

Thank you for the compliment. I am not the world's most creative person, so keeping it simple was about all I could do. That, and try to make it look nice within my limitations.

I may just email my provider to find out how much they'll give me, reasonably. You know as well as the rest of us how much trouble CR has had with bandwidth limits. :|

How have you been these days? Haven't seen you in a dog's age.

I am not sure my website ever made it to 100! Of course I quit updating it over time.... I should really get back into it, but it is so time consuming
