Balligomingo will release "Beneath the Surface" on June 11, 2002.

Enigma's fifth release is coming out next month.

Good news for music for Arafel. :)

*jumps up and down for joy*

*'splodes from excitement*

"At least I have my lab garb on to clean up the mess he made..." Arafel says with a heavy sigh.

I'll buy them. I do like having the liner notes etc. Also, getting MP3's has become a lot harder since AG cracked down on blocking songs and Morpheus began to really suck.

So true !

Hope those albums will turn out to be good !

Did you hear that a company on Japan had released albums with a copy lock... so better dl and copy all one can before it gets too much of a hassle to do.

I'm not sure if it's the same technique, but some American artist (country I believe) did that as well--the CD will play in CD players, but if you try to rip the data tracks off, it won't work since there is something *different* about the CD than normal ones. That leaves two options, record it analogly (is that a word? lol) from an external CD player, or wait for some sort of program/hack to get around it.

I'm sure the hackers are already working on it. The other (valid) complaint about not being able to rip is that you can't then create custom mixes from CD's you already own. For people who like to use MP3 players in the car, or for those who do want to make a mix of favorite songs, it really is a complaint.

Unfortunately, I think they comprise about 0.01% of rippers. :)

That's a very good point. It's just another way companies stick it to the legit people, and encourange the hackers/pirates to be more innovative. I bought it, now leave me in peace to do with it as I please--at least in the comfort and privacy of my own home... @_X

I mean, it's not going to be impossible copy the CDs, just not as easy. So people will be MORE likely to get MP3s, since as you say, a lot of them have MP3 players (as I do), and want to be able to enjoy their music on the go.

In fact, my MP3s player is my primary portable music system, so....
