Hurricane!

It's raining like a sumbitch out there. I hope that we don't lose power and that our sump pump is up to the task.

For proper hurricane preparedness, we have water, flashlights, and wine.

In accordance with the NJ governor's request for voluntary evacuations, I evacuated three monarch butterfly caterpillars from my garden so that they are not blown to kingdom come overnight. They are in a nice little netted bug house that was supposed to be for preying mantises.

Other than that, I have a kitty and a PSP, so all's right with the world. Except no ice cream. :(

I am kind of disappointed with the hurricane so far. It's just been rain, and not even all day. It's just like a regular rainy day so far.

I approve of your preparedness. Hopefully the water won't really be necessary!
