Final Fantasy meme, Day 9/10

I'm... not sure I have one. Most of the FF games I've played don't seem to have moogles in them, except for Dissidia. Don't remember them in I or IV, in VIII I think they were only part of the Chocobo summon (which you couldn't get unless you had a PocketStation and no one had one), in X they were present as one of Lulu's dolls, and in XII they hardly even looked like moogles. Oddly, until now I didn't even remember that Montblanc was a moogle!



If "best FF scene ever" equates to "scene I have watched about five thousand times," it would be Laguna's proposal to Raine. This was before YouTube, and I had to pop in a videotape to record my inspiration for fanfics. But is there a better one? Hmmm...

I will say that the scene at the end of FFX where Yuna is whistling for Tidus broke my heart into a million little pieces. Yuna tried so hard - for the good of her world, she defied everything she was ever taught; she broke the cycle of Sin and let the fayth rest, and the boy she leaned on and fell in love with has faded away into memory. She's still trying, and the everything is coming apart after the end of Yevon, and she's whistling because she misses him and needs someone to hold on to. Damn, Square, making me cry and stuff.

As far as humor goes, goody-two-shoes Cecil in a brothel is almost unbeatable. (Is it me, or did FF get a lot less funny once they went to voice acting? Somewhere along the line, the plot got all srs bizness. Maybe group sex in a hot tub gets even more uncomfortable when someone has to voice it. XD) Though Kefka remarking on Kuja's thong is pretty damn funny. (again, text-based!)
