Final Fantasy meme: Day 3

Hm. My husband caught me singing the Hymn of the Fayth in the shower; does that count for anything?

I'm most familiar with the pieces from FFVIII and FFX, because I had a partial soundtrack to one and the full soundtrack to the other. From earlier games, I love the final boss theme (Cloud of Darkness) from FFIII, and the Red Wings' theme and the boss fight theme from FFIV. From FFVIII, I liked The Man With the Machine Gun (natch), Ride On!( Ragnarok theme) and the BGM from the Great Salt Lake. From FFX, obviously the Hymn of the Fayth, Auron's theme (because Auron is always badass) and To Zanarkand and Someday the Dream Will End. But, my far-and-away favorite is the boss theme from the final fight with Seymour in FFX. That one made it onto my workout playlist, and it is directly responsible for making me drive too fast on the highway. Then again, I am from NJ and I do this anyway.

The only downside to these boss themes is that I associate some of them with getting my butt kicked. :)

Bonus track: Even though Vagrant Story is not Final Fantasy, strictly speaking, I love the Undercity Theme. It's so delightfully creepy, and there are little murderous marionette dolls running around trying to kill you in the game.
