YOU GUYS THERE ARE (AT LEAST) TWO TWIMOMS IN MY OFFICE

HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS

I DON'T THINK THAT ONE OF THEM THOUGHT IT WAS HUMOROUS WHEN I SAID THAT WE BROUGHT RUM TO "TWILIGHT" AND TOOK A SHOT EVERY TIME SOMEONE SPARKLED

Oh dear.

Twilight seems to be the great divide. Either you love it or you hate it. I'm of the second variety.

I thought this was a Biscuit post at first from all the caps.

Whether or not they found it humorous, I certainly laughed. :)

Um, what exactly is a TWIMOM? I mean, I get the general idea, but....

We had a viewing out here with the aid of a bottle of Port (of the Ancients!). I didn't think it was that bad, but I'm an old vampire movie junkie and have seen some really terrible ones. I put Twilight just a notch below Lost Boys 2: The Tribe, if only because the latter had more nudity. Hey, these are my rules, I make them up.

HOW COULD THEY NOT FIND THAT FUNNY. DID YOU TELL THEM ABOUT THE KID IN FRONT OF US? HE WAS FTW.

LOL. Even my 15 year old doesn't like it.

I have Twimoms in my office, too. I cringe whenever I hear them talking about how great the books are.

Wow, you must have been drunk by the end of the film!

Oh come on. We took shots more often than that.

No Twimoms at my job, but a bunch of the tellers gushed about how 'awesome' the books were. Thing is, none of them could tell me why.

You put actual money into Twilight? I don't think I could bring myself to encourage the hype and the awful, even for amusement :-(

Because everyone says it's awesome, right? So of course it must be awesome! Any other decision would require them to think for themselves.

I'm just sorry to see that so many people think that having a stalker is romantic. Sigh.

No, but I do have some Biscuit stories to tell, mostly involving playtime at 2 AM.

We did too, along with the whole theatre. XD

A TwiMom is a mom who bought the Twilight books for her kids and got a little too into them herself. Mostly, a bunch of older women squeeing over a stone-hard vampire who stalks his intended.

IF IT EVER COMES UP AGAIN, I WILL DEFINITELY SHARE THE "REHAB" COMMENT.

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear it. No one should have to listen to TwiMoms.

We are totes on for New Moon. Maybe it should be a renter so we can get properly blitzed.

We did buy tickets to the movie, I'm ashamed to say, but it was a fun girl's night out with alcohol.

I don't think Casey will wait that long. Someone else has to be DD next time, though. I need to get my drink on this go-round.

I saw it again on the plane back from Japan. Didn't pay for it that time, of course, but thank goodness for free wine on international flights is all I'm saying.

I wonder whether anyone lives near a theatre we can walk or take the train to?
