Dear Volkswagen Service Place,

Please cash my freaking check. It's been almost three weeks since I paid for my CV boot repair, and still you have not cashed it. This is bad because every time I look at my online balance, I think "OMG I AM RICH TIME TO SPEND SOME MONEY," but in actuality, I am $400 poorer than it looks like. If it were one of my friends who hadn't cashed the check, I might be more understanding b/c sometimes it's hard to get to the bank, but you are running a business and that's a good chunk of change not to put in your pocket.

Get on with it, and stop allowing me to think that it's Time to Buy A PSP I Don't Need.

I'm not sure what it about auto repair places, but mine does the EXACT same thing. I had to yell at them about it because I had my wallet stolen while *still* waiting on them to cash a $225 check, so I couldn't close the account and *they* had stashed the check somewhere that they (so I was told) couldn't give it back to me.

Their other skill is cashing the check the same week that some other huge check goes through, so I go from having the usual piddly amounts of money the universe allows me as a college student to having diddly squat and being very confused as to why. >_<
