I think I'm the only person on my flist in the US who's not watching the Oscars.

Reason why? Didn't see any of the movies except March of the Penguins. I'm sorry I missed the plushie parade, though.

Frankly, Beavis, I don't give a rat's ass. The show isn't interesting to me. If I really care about who won, I can find out online in a jiffy.

I was playing Castlevania: Curse of Darkness for the past few hours. I don't give a damn about the Oscars either. I'd much rather watch hot men duke it out. XD

I turned it on for Robert Altman. Otherwise, I pretty much know who won everything. Except in the more technical categories, it would appear. Only nailed 50 percent of those winners in predictions. The Oscars are so fucking easy to predict anymore, you don't even need to watch, or even see the movies nominated. Look at who wins SAGs, and those are usually your winners at the big show.

I don't know if I saw anything worth cheering for because I have no idea what's up for the Oscars save Brokeback Mountain, which I know I didn't see. :P

i also hear the itunes music store is going to start offering tv shows from abc for free (w/ commercials, and for money w/out the commercials).

How ironic - my (gay) flatmate desperately wanted to watch it, and we spent a good 10 mins flipping through every Freeview channel we have before realizing it was being shown on Sky. Which you have to pay for. He settled for listening to a live feed from the website, hunched over his laptop like a crack junkie whore. XD
