No black pens left.

I simply cannot write in my lab notebook without rich black ink. None of these Bic junky things, just good fine-tipped fountain-pen substitutes.

Before I can do anything I must go to the stationery store.

Well, if you place is anything like it is around her, pens mysteriously disappear all the time. All I can say is somebody has one HUGE ASS pen collection at home, I think.

I think you're right. I'd love to know where all the pens I've bought over the years have wandered off to. The only one I can definitely account for is one, and that's because it exploded all over five pairs of my pants in the dryer. :T

I'm not particularly particular about the style of pen. But I am picky about the color of the ink. Has to be black. Not blue or any other color, just black. (I shudder at the thought of pink, green or some other hideous color of pen.)

And I think the pens go where ever socks go.
