please please make my new ethernet card work... the system isn't configured to log on to Windows... *cries harder* I need my ICQ, I need my Netscape. How long will you evil people make me suffer?

And to think that I installed the ethernet card on my old comp with NO problems and NO troubles and I was on the Net in a few hours.. the comp support person here is not helping me one little bit. He was up to look at the comp earlier today and no Internet...

*gives up and mourns*

On the up side, FFX arrived today. :P

After a long, expletive-laced day of swearing at the Ethernet card that came with this new toy of mine, I broke down and went out to the CompUSA and bought a new one. For whatever reason, the card in this computer just wasn't going to behave and connect me, so finally I gave it a big, hearty "F**k You!" and got in the car. The new one is just dandy and works well, and here I am!

And I've been having a nice time playing with GoLive. Thanks for that, you know who you are. :) The rollovers look terrific in the preview.

This has been a four-Advil day, but nonetheless... it's ending well.

Tomorrow I shall talk about important things like New Year's Resolutions, but for the moment I'm happy.
