I. Con Going

1. Have you ever gone to an anime convention?: Yup, five at last count.

2. Are you planning to go to one in the near future?: I hope Ohayocon.

5. You have been to 11 or more conventions?: Not likely. I'm getting too old for this.

8. You've stayed all three days of a con?: Otakon 2002, 2003, 2004; Ohayocon 2004

10. You've slept on the floor of the hotel room?: I have found I prefer it, since my report card says "Does Not Sleep Well With Others."

II. Social Behavior

11. Have you met someone you knew online at a con?: Almost everyone I've ever met at a con, I originally knew online.

12. Are you now good friends with an online friend?: Of course! You can't eat Pocky and read pr0n at 1 AM and not remain good friends.

13. Are you now dating an online friend?: My husband might get upset about that.

14. Ever glomped someone?: Yeah. Sorry, littlelicks...

15. Ever been glomped?: Sometimes. It's welcome only if I know the person.

16. Ever have a fangirl/boy moment?: Nah.

17. Was it over yaoi/yuri?: No.

18. Cons are the extent of your social activity? Um... I hope not.

19. People know who you are, even if you don't know them?: Maybe if I made a T-shirt with the titles of my fics on them... *rolls eyes*

20. You're a FansView Con Personality of the Week? : Nope.


III. Cosplay

21. Ever cosplayed?: Every con! What's a con without a costume?

22. Worn 2-3 costumes over a con?: Yes

23. Worn 4-5 costumes over a con?: Yes, just last con.

24. Hell, you're changing costumes every other hour (6+ costumes)?: No, I'm not that prolific a seamstress.

25. Do you bring a camera to photograph cosplayers?: This is why digital cameras were invented.

27. Won an award? No, but I'd like to.

28. Been complimented on your costume?: The Seung Mina outfit gets a lot of compliments. :D

29. You're recognized by your local fabric store employees?: Not yet.

30. You take commissions?: No, though I would if I were a better seamstress.

IV. Life At A Con

31. You usually stay up past midnight at a con?: Always.

32. ...Past 2AM?: Usually.

33. ...Past 4AM?: Not yet.

34. Sleep is for the weak?: Noooo, I need my nappytime!

35. You like Pocky?: Chocolate orange = heaven.

36. You've gotten sick of fast food by the end of the con?: Urgh.

37. You've gone broke from eating hotel food?: How much money do you think we have?

38. You've survived off Ramen the whole weekend?: No.

39. You've blown at least $100 in the dealers room?: Despite my protests that I wouldn't...

40. You've managed to spend nothing in the dealers room?: Maybe once.

V. Everything Else

41. You hang out regularly with con buddies?: No, most of them live far away.

42. You go to school/work with con buddies?: Nope. None of my coworkers or close IRL friends like anime.

43. You drive more than an hour to see con buddies?: Yup! Hi fadingembers and irenak!

44. You preregister for cons?: Yeah, so that I'm sure I can get in.

45. You plan months ahead for the next cons?: If I have a yen to costume, yes. It takes a while to get that started.

46. You've driven more than 6 hours to get to a con?: No, but five hours is getting there.

47. You've taken a plane to get to a con?: Yep, when we all went to Ohayocon.

48. You've volunteered at a convention?: Nah. No time for that.

49. You're staff of a convention?: Nah. No time for that.

50. You're starting your own convention?: Anime Night! Son of Anime Night! Et cetera!

"Glomp" means to run up to someone and hug them before they can protest. It's a very fannish thing to do. ^_^
