For resale: one canister of Republic of Tea "Emperor's White Tea" sachets, less two, purchased at considerable cost.

It seems that "unmatched subtlety, complexity, and mellow, sweet notes" translates to Arafel's tongue as "this stuff tastes like ass."

Note to the interested - I only wish this tea tasted anything like green tea, which is very nice even without sugar.

Republic of Tea = so nasty. I've seriously never been able to understand why it's so popular, other than marketing. Their two vanilla teas are the only passable ones, IMHO.

I like their cardamom cinnamon tea, but the price keeps me from buying it. >_< Celestial Seasonings makes all my favorites. Guess it's popular because it's the brand you get in Borders or Barnes & Noble.

*grins* I think I can foot the cost of a tea ball. Probably ought to get another one, since my current one is falling apart. The Wegman's near us has green teas imported from Japan, so perhaps one of these days...

I like green tea, the kind labeled breakfast tea and Earl Grey. That's about it. But then I'm not much of a tea drinker either. I prefer coffee.
