Well, it was bound to happen.

We turned on the Daytona 500 and promptly fell asleep.

It's a NASCAR tradition to conk out during the interim 150 laps and wake up for the finish. It's about the only sport where you can sleep through the whole thing and miss nothing.

Watched some Italian League soccer on the international channel. Forza Parma! But, they lost.

We're now waiting for this 16-24 inch snow blitz we're supposed to get and we're heartily amused at the Weather Channel's "ALERT MODE!" programming. It's not as funny as the "WINTER BLITZ!" a couple years ago but we'll take it.

*yawn*

Maybe golf, too... Hmm.

Yeah, has our winter weather alert system been bumped up to orange for "high" like the terrorism alert? Cause right now we're in more danger from being snowed in than a nuclear bomb.

You slept through the Daytona 500??? Heretic!! LOL Though this year you could have slept through the rain delays.

How much snow did you get?

Oh geez. Watching the Weather Channel from Arizona, you'd think the whole northeast of the country was going to freeze and fall off into the ocean, triggering the end of the world... But then, weather coverage is just as stupid here, too. Shall I mention Stop and Shop's $1 Blizzard Bread Sale two years ago? Freakin' morons.
